About This Product

Charge Preserve Evidence Bag - Charge and Preserve Seized Devices for Full Chain of Custody

The Mission Darkness Charge Preserve Evidence Bag is the first evidence bag to integrate a USB charging cable directly into the bag, allowing seized devices to stay charged without ever breaking the hermetic seal.

Designed for law enforcement and digital forensic teams who need a reliable, court-admissible method for seizing and transporting electronic devices without compromising evidence integrity. The bag preserves both physical evidence (DNA, fingerprints, blood) and digital data simultaneously. Made from tamper-evident PET+PE with UL-certified cables, this patent-pending design is purpose-built to meet forensic chain of custody standards from the moment of seizure to lab analysis.

Why the Charge Preserve Evidence Bag is Essential

Don’t Choose Between Digital & Physical Evidence: When a device is seized, it often carries more than just digital data – biological evidence like DNA, fingerprints, and blood may be present on the surface. Forensic teams no longer have to choose between preserving digital data or collecting physical DNA evidence. The Charge Preserve Evidence solution ensures both are secured from the moment of seizure, streamlining the process and strengthening the integrity of the entire investigation.

Maintain Continuous Device Battery Charge: Standard evidence bags force a choice: pierce the bag to charge the device or leave it unpowered and risk lockout mode. The Charge Preserve Evidence Bag eliminates that tradeoff entirely. Keeping the device live and powered enables faster data extraction and passcode unlocking with tools like GrayKey, Cellebrite, XRY, BlackBag, and Oxygen Forensics. The clear back side allows full visibility of the device state without opening the bag. Connect the USB cable to a portable power bank or forensic tool externally while the device charges inside.

Tamper-Evident Seal for Evidence Integrity: Any attempt to reopen the bag will leave clear, irrefutable evidence of tampering.

Maintain Chain of Custody: The bag is made of fully transparent tamper-evident PET+PE with UL-certified cables, a patent-pending design purpose-built to meet forensic chain of custody standards. The bag has note-taking fields and printed instructions for documenting recovery and power connection details.

Protect Faraday Equipment: When paired with signal-blocking Faraday bags, the evidence is entirely protected from remote hacking, tracking, wiping, and data corruption, while the Charge Preserve Evidence bag protects the Faraday bag (both inside and out) from biological contaminants.

Complete the System: The Charge Preserve Evidence bag is designed to pair with the Mission Darkness Charge and Shield Faraday bags and the Blocker Locker system. The Charge Preserve Evidence bag preserves the physical evidence chain, the Charge and Shield Faraday bag maintains full RF isolation, and the Blocker Locker secures the device during charging. The dual-sided USB filter is fully compatible with the Charge Preserve Evidence bag’s cable tip.
