The Mission Darkness TitanRF™ Faraday Gloves are double-layer conductive gloves designed for hands-on, shielded device interaction. Primarily used for digital forensics, hardware testing and EMF/health protection. Used in conjunction with NeoLok™ Faraday bags, BlockBox Touch, and BlockBox Lab XL examination enclosures. The gloves allow the investigator to interact with devices inside a Faraday enclosure without breaking the RF boundary.
Live Device Isolation: Investigators wear the gloves inside RF enclosures (such as the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab) to manipulate touchscreens without blocking your own skin, preventing devices from receiving remote wipe commands or communicating with cellular networks.
Contamination Prevention: The gloves protect digital evidence from being altered or contaminated by the investigator’s physical touch, oils, or static.
Personal EMF Shielding: Beyond forensic use, the gloves allow users to operate and test electronic devices, such as cell phones and tablets, while substantially reducing exposure to harmful Radio Frequency (RF) signals, Electromagnetic Fields (EMF), and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI).
RF Isolation Testing: Hardware developers and engineers use them to handle RF-emitting devices during testing phases, isolating signals up to 40GHz while still maintaining tactile functionality.
Construction & Size:
- Each gloves is made with two independent layers of high-shielding TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric, made of flexible polyester, copper and nickel
- Two gloves per set
- Size XL – longer arm length allowing a wider range of motion inside forensic boxes, as well as a greater area of covered shielding; compatible with the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab XL
RF Isolation & Shielding:
- TitanRF™ Flex Faraday Fabric is certified by Keystone Compliance to IEEE 299-2006 (effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding)
- Blocks all RF signals including WiFi (2.4 to 5GHz), Bluetooth, Cellular (including 5G), GPS, RFID, NFC, and radio signals from low MHz to 40GHz, with 90dB+ average attenuation
- EMI, EMR, and EMF shielding

The gloves come in two sizes – standard (compatible with the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab) and XL (Compatible with the Mission Darkness BlockBox Lab XL). The image below demonstrates the arm length difference between the standard size and extra-large size gloves.
Tips when using the Faraday gloves:
- The Faraday fabric will become defective with extended water contact – do not expose to wet devices
- Items or devices with sharp edges will puncture the gloves and void the shielding capacity of the gloves
- It is not recommended to use the gloves with Faraday bags that use the Velcro closure system, as the Velcro will wear out the gloves over time – use Faraday bags that use the Neolok™ magnetic closure system
- All Faraday fabrics wear out over time and the gloves should be regularly checked to ensure they continue to adequately shield
