The Faraday industry standard. Independently tested.
Used by law enforcement, military, intelligence agencies and digital forensic teams in over 80 countries. Mission Darkness sets the RF isolation standard across the range, from key fob bags to forensic enclosures.
About Mission Darkness
Built for the people who can’t afford a failure.
Mission Darkness offers a comprehensive selection of advanced radio frequency shielding solutions specifically engineered for law enforcement agencies, military units, forensic investigators and intelligence organisations. Their range extends to executive travel protection, harmful EMF reduction, and anti-hacking/anti-tracking protection.
All Mission Darkness Faraday bags include at least two layers of high-shielding TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric, designed to block Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cell signals, GPS, RFID, NFC, and radio signals, with 90 dB average attenuation from low MHz up to 40GHz.
TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric has been independently tested by Keystone Compliance Laboratory to MIL STD 188-125 and IEEE 299-2006, meeting the signal blocking requirements for military use. These certifications ensure your digital and electronic devices are also shielded from Electromagnetic Pulses (EMP), High-Altitude EMPs (HEMP), and solar flares/Coronal Mass Ejections (CME).

The fabric, the certification, the shielding.
Mission Darkness’s shielding claims are independently tested by Keystone Compliance, an accredited third-party laboratory in the USA. The material is TitanRF, a woven metallised fabric that meets MIL-STD-188-125 and IEEE 299-2006. Below: what the fabric is, what standards it meets, and what it actually blocks.
TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric
Copper and nickel-plated woven material engineered by Mission Darkness. Delivers shielding effectiveness typically only achieved by rigid enclosures, in a form flexible enough for bags, apparel, and drape-shields.
- Copper + nickel plating
- Standard TitanRF: semi-rigid, higher attenuation, majority of products
- TitanRF Flex: stretchable variant, used in beanie, gloves, and DroneCloak
MIL-STD-188-125 · IEEE 299-2006
Independent verification against the two standards that matter for procurement and admissibility. Testing performed by Keystone Compliance, an FCC-recognised accredited laboratory.
- MIL-STD-188-125 (HEMP threshold)
- IEEE 299-2006 (shielding measurement)
- Keystone Compliance verified
90+ dB Across the Operational Spectrum
Blocks cellular (2G through 5G), Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz), Bluetooth, GPS, RFID, NFC, and LoRa. Shielding effectiveness maintained across the frequency range mission-critical operations rely on.
- Cellular 2G – 5G
- Wi-Fi 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz

NeoLok™ Closure Technology
NeoLok™. Designed for ease of opening.
Standard Velcro closures are the norm for most Faraday bags, but an easier and more elegant closure system is the NeoLok™ magnetic system.
The Mission Darkness NeoLok™ range was designed for digital forensics where the use of Velcro bags create a problem that only becomes apparent inside a digital analysis enclosure: the Velcro abrades and punctures the conductive gloves used to operate devices inside a BlockBox Lab XL. A damaged glove compromises the shielded environment and can compromise the examination entirely.
The NeoLok™ system eliminates this with a patented double-roll magnetic closure. No Velcro. The bag opens easily inside an analysis enclosure even with one gloved hand. The magnetic seal also provides tactile confirmation of closure, removing reliance on operator technique at the scene.
Glove-safe inside analysis enclosure
No Velcro means no abrasion risk to conductive gloves. Opens cleanly inside a BlockBox Lab XL or forensic tent without damaging the Faraday gloves.
Verified seal, every time
Neodymium magnets confirm full closure with tactile feedback. No reliance on visual inspection or operator technique under pressure at a scene.
Chain of custody maintained
Each bag has a unique serial number. Evidence integrity is maintained from the moment the device is seized and secured.
Every bag serialised. Every device tracked.
NeoLok forensic bags are individually serialised. Each unit carries a unique identifier recorded at the point of seizure and referenced throughout the chain of custody. No serial number means no admissibility in court.

Three phases. Three tools. One shielding standard.
The counter-UAS threat has moved from military perimeters to civilian critical infrastructure, correctional facilities, and event security in the last three years. Mission Darkness builds a complete operational response: neutralise the drone on the ground, contain it for transport, examine it under RF isolation.
DroneCloak
Rapid-deployment dome shield on a 4–12 ft telescoping pole. Drops over a downed drone from a safe standoff in under 10 seconds, suppressing control, telemetry, video, and GPS. Built for EOD, tactical teams, and first-responder counter-UAS operations.

Recon Faraday Drone Shield
Serialised Faraday bag sized for common commercial and military drones. Double-roll Velcro closure, dual-paired TitanRF seams, transparent evidence-card pocket. Includes fire-resistant battery case and propeller bag for organised transport from scene to lab.

Drone Ops Rapid Cinch
Full RF-isolated field enclosure. Dual conductive gloves on aluminium interface plate, RF-FilterVu transparent viewing window, LED interior lighting. Modular filter plate for USB or multiport data extraction while the drone stays completely isolated.

The law exists. Enforcement is the gap.
New Zealand made phone-free schools mandatory in April 2024. One year later, the Education Review Office found that nearly half of secondary students still use phones covertly during the school day. Policy without physical enforcement hits a ceiling of compliance. Generation Faraday removes that ceiling.
The ERO report found that older students consistently find ways around rules-based enforcement. Covert use happens during breaks, out of sight, and through parent contact during school hours. No policy can close that gap without a physical mechanism.
Generation Faraday is that mechanism. When a phone is inside a TitanRF-shielded bag, it cannot connect to any network. Not covertly. Not during breaks. Not with the screen dimmed. The signal is blocked at the physics level, not the rules level.

One year in. The results are clear.
The Education Review Office surveyed 2,000 teachers and 3,691 students one year after the phone ban became law.

Physics-level blocking
Blocks all signals including 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. No signal means no covert use, regardless of student intent.
Serialised accountability
Every bag carries a unique serial number. Combined with the transparent ID slot, schools have a documented chain of custody for every device, every day.
Visible protocol
The Phone Hotel makes compliance visible to the whole class. Consistent enforcement without confrontation, every lesson.
Device stays with the student
Unlike lockers or confiscation, the bag stays in the classroom. Access for genuine emergencies, no liability around school-held devices.
Blocking, not just locking
Locking pouches secure the device but don't block signals. Locked phones transmit, receive, and track. Generation Faraday eliminates the signal and access.
The Faraday benchmark. Trusted worldwide and in New Zealand.
