About This Product

Blocker Locker 7 Pass Thru - Wall Mounted Evidence Transfer System

The Mission Darkness™ Blocker Locker 7 Pass Thru is a secure, wall mounted evidence cabinet with 7 locker compartments designed for forensic investigators to keep devices individually locked, shielded, and charged during storage. The Pass Thu’s defining feature is its dual-door architecture. Each compartment has a door on both sides of the wall, allowing intake and retrieval to occur completely independently — without shared space or direct handoff between personnel.

The Pass Thu’s design solves multiple problems for forensics investigators and labs. Most chain-of-custody failures don’t happen in the lab – they happen during handoff when intake personnel and forensic staff share the same space, the same locker, or the same moment. The Pass-Thru eliminates that moment entirely by building the separation via the wall itself.

To effectively access and recover data from cell phones and tablets, extraction tools such as GrayKey and Cellebrite require devices to stay continuously live. It can be difficult to simultaneously keep devices shielded from RF signals, charged at all times, and securely locked. The Pass-Thru meets all of these requirements in a single cabinet designed specifically for shielding, charging, and locking – while maintaining physical separation between intake and forensic personnel.

The charging feature is designed to prevent lockout mode and reduce the amount of time needed to break a passcode, enabling the maximum amount of data extraction and unlocking with data extraction tools.

The Blocker Locker  includes 7 x Mission Darkness™ Window Charge & Shield Faraday Bags for either phones or tablets (depending on the configuration of locker that you choose), plus all necessary charging components.

Part of the Forensic Evidence Workflow:

The Blocker Locker 7 covers Stage 3 in the Mission Darkness™ Forensic Evidence Workflow. Pair it with the Charge & Shield bags used in the field, the BlockBox Lab XL for analysis in the lab, and the Forensic Crack Cabinet for passcode cracking. Every piece of equipment is purpose-built for each stage. Every hand-over is seamless.

  1. Stage 1 – Crime Scene:  A suspect’s phone or tablet is seized and immediately Rf shielded in a Charge & Shield Faraday Bag.
  2. Stage 2 – Transport: A battery kit is connected to the Charge & Shield Faraday Bag to continuously maintain device charge during transport from the scene to the station or forensic lab. The device remains live at all times.
  3. Stage 3 –  Blocker Locker 7:  The device inside the Charge & Shield Faraday Bag is connected via USB cable to the charging port inside the Blocker Locker compartment, on the intake side of the wall. The compartment is locked, the key is placed inside the built-in key dropbox. Job done – there is no access to the secure side of the locker of the other side of the wall ,except by authorised personnel, and the device was continuously RF-isolated from point of seizure to storage in the locker.
  4. Stage 4 –  BlockBox Lab XL:  The forensic examiner on the other side of the wall transfers the Charge & Shield bag from the locker directly to the BlockBox Lab XL, opens the Faraday Bag with conductive gloves inside the enclosure, and connects the device to the extraction tool. RF signal isolation is never compromised, chain of custody remains intact from the point of device seizure to the point of data extraction.

Key Features of the Locker Blocker 7 Pass Thru:

  1. Dual-Door Design for Physical Role Separation: doors on both sides of the wall allow intake and retrieval to occur independently.
  2. Compartments: the locker has 7 independent locked compartments for up to 14 devices, 2 in each bay.
  3. Unique Key: each compartment has its own unique numbered lock. After locking, officers drop their bay key into the built-in key drop slot. Investigators retrieve keys from the secure side. Master keys provide supervisor access.
  4. Every Detail Engineered for Chain of Custody: built from the ground up to solve the real problems investigators face — from device intake through to lab extraction. Not adapted from general-purpose hardware. Built into the wall.
  5. Hardwired by a Licensed Electrician: unlike the standard Blocker Locker 7 which plugs into a wall outlet, the Pass-Thru has no power cord. It connects directly to your building’s electrical system and must be installed by a licensed electrician. This eliminates any risk of accidental unplugging and ensures uninterrupted 24/7 power to every bay.
  6. Built-In Officer Intake Instructions: basic step by step usage instructions are provided on the intake side to guide officers through the correct intake procedure.
  7. Instant Power Loss Detection:  the MySpool sits hidden beneath the cabinet and continuously monitors power to the unit. The moment an outage occurs, an SMS alert and email are immediately sent to nominated devices.
  8. Configurable Recipients: set any phone number and email – detectives, lab supervisors, overnight staff, or all of the above. Multiple recipients so the right people are notified instantly regardless of who is on duty.
  9. MD Monitor App (coming soon): the MD Monitor app connects to the Blocker Locker 7 Pass-Thru and the Forensic Crack Cabinet via built-in sensors, giving real-time visibility into device status, power health, temperature, and humidity – without opening a door. Works on iOS and Android. Manage multiple units across multiple locations from one dashboard.
  10. Prevents Remote Wiping & Lockout Mode: RF isolation of the Charge & Shield Faraday bags blocks all signals from the moment the device is secured. Continuous power prevents lockout mode, the single biggest barrier to successful forensic extraction.
  11. Purpose-Built, Not Retrofitted: engineered from the ground up for digital forensics (not a repurposed charging cabinet). Every dimension, port, and closure has been specifically chosen for effective forensic workflow.
  12. Each compartment has a power outlet with 2 x USB power receptacles.
  13. LED indicator light on main cabinet.
  14. Designed & Assembled in the USA.

  • Blocks device hacking, tracking, remote wiping and remote detonation
  • NeoLok™ Magnetic Closure: opens and seals in a single motion, even with conductive gloves on inside a forensic enclosure. No Velcro abrasion, no fumbling, no torn gloves.
  • Transparent Window: view device screen, battery level, and status at a glance without ever breaking the RF seal. Confirm the device is live before transport.
  • Cable Lock Prevents Disconnection: an external cable lock on the bag’s USB filter helps prevent accidental disconnection during long-term evidence storage in the Pass-Thru.
  • Forensic Environment Compatible: sized to transfer directly from the Pass-Thru’s secure side into a forensic Faraday box or RF-shielded room – device stays shielded the entire journey.
