The Air Tube Advantage: Sweet Sounds without the EMF

In our modern era, where technology reigns supreme, our constant exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) poses a significant concern for our well-being.

As our lives become increasingly intertwined with electronic devices, the need to safeguard our brains from the potential risks of EMF exposure has never been more critical. That’s where Custodi steps in, with our ground-breaking Air Tube Headsets designed to provide smart protection without compromising on audio quality.

Navigating the Challenges of EMF Exposure

The pervasive nature of EMFs emitted by our electronic devices presents a host of challenges, particularly concerning our brain health. Research suggests that prolonged exposure to EMFs may have adverse effects on cognitive function, sleep patterns, and overall neurological health. In fact, in 2011, the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified certain kinds of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR) as possibly carcinogenic to humans. They based this decision on a link between cell phone usage and glioma, which is a type of brain cancer.

Moreover, the proliferation of wireless technologies means that we are constantly surrounded by sources of electromagnetic radiation, from smartphones to Wi-Fi routers, amplifying the need for effective protection.

Challenges with Traditional Headsets

Traditional headsets, with their straight cables leading directly to in-ear speakers, inadvertently exacerbate our exposure to EMFs. The proximity of these components to our ears means that electromagnetic radiation can penetrate our brains more easily, potentially increasing the risk of health issues over time. Additionally, the transmission of unwanted harmonics through the straight cable design can further compromise the quality of our audio experience.

Creating an Innovative Solution

Air Tube Headsets represent a paradigm shift in EMF protection, addressing the inherent challenges of traditional headset designs. By eliminating in-ear speakers and utilizing air tubes as a buffer, they create a physical barrier that reduces the direct transmission of EMFs to our brains. This innovative approach not only mitigates the health risks associated with EMF exposure but also ensures that you can enjoy crystal-clear audio without compromise.

1. Earbuds Free of Magnetic Field

There is no loudspeaker in the earbuds, which means there is no magnetic field generated in the earbuds. Thus, the harm to people’s eardrums and brains brought by EMF radiation can be significantly mitigated. Tests have shown an up to 99% reduction in EMF.

2. THE INNOVATIVE AIR TUBE

The innovative design of the Air Tubes works to isolate EMF radiation. Because the Air Tube extends the distance between the speaker and the earbuds, it attenuates (weakens) the radiation before it gets to your ears.

3. METAL-SHIELDED WIRE

The cable from your device is made of strands of fine and pure copper wire, which can prevent the transmission of high-frequency electromagnetic waves along the wire, achieving quite good radiation protection and enabling an output of high sound quality. Besides, it strengthens the tensile intensity and extends the service life of the earphone.

Surprisingly, there is very little noticeable difference between the sound quality of an Air Tube headset and that of the standard headsets that come with most cell phones.

These headsets are lighter in the ear as well, which means they are more comfortable over longer periods of use. When used during phone calls and while using online applications like Messenger, Zoom, Facetime, etc., they perform like a normal headset.

We have two models to choose from, and the main difference is in the specifications of the speakers and the design of the earpieces. The FC22 has slightly bigger speakers that produce a louder experience and the FC31 has slightly smaller speakers, but they have a better sound profile. As such, the earpieces are a different build as a result.

For music, movies, etc I would go with the FC31, as it also has better bass reproduction. The FC22 is great for people who are hard of hearing. However, having tried both across a range of applications, both headsets produce a great sound. You will need to expect a slightly lower bass performance (remembering that the speakers are not directly in the earpieces), but it would be hard to tell the difference from a standard headset.

One thing that we did notice is a lighter in-ear experience. As the speaker is not in the earpiece, the weight is lower and this results in a better level of comfort over longer periods.

The great news is that you can purchase these right now – what are you waiting for? Your brain and ears will thank you!
