The Mission Darkness™ Drone Ops Rapid Cinch is a field-ready RF-isolated containment system designed for drone recovery, on-site forensic analysis, and evidence preservation. Operators can rapidly secure a downed or seized drone or UAV, isolate it from external radio signals, and safely conduct examination or data extraction within a fully shielded environment.
Built for military, defense, law enforcement, and investigative teams, the system combines high-performance signal shielding with rapid field deployment. A rigid aluminum interface plate features two double-layer conductive gloves for precise device manipulation inside the enclosure, integrated LED lighting, and a patented RF-FilterVu™ transparent viewing window for clear visibility while maintaining complete RF isolation. A supportive T-stand holds the interface plate upright during operation.
A modular filter plate system allows connectivity to be configured based on mission needs. Standard options include a single-port USB 2.0 filter or a multiport filter with AC power, RJ45 Ethernet, and dual USB 2.0 ports, with additional configurations available upon request.
The enclosure body is constructed from two layers of TitanRF™ Faraday Fabric, certified to MIL-STD-188-125 and IEEE 299-2006, providing shielding from WiFi (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth, cellular signals including 5G, GPS, RFID, NFC, and frequencies from low MHz through 40 GHz. A rugged ballistic nylon exterior adds durability for field operations.
A defining feature of the Drone Ops Rapid Cinch is its drawstring cinch-style closure, which replaces traditional folded or magnetic seals. This design provides a wide, unobstructed opening for larger drones while enabling fast, secure closure in the field. An attached Faraday cap covers the cinch for a third layer of signal protection, complementing the dual-cinch closure.
The kit includes replacement conductive gloves, two cable sets, a signal-dampening foam block for device stabilization and enhanced shielding, two stylus pens, and a padded carrying case for the enclosure and accessories. Lightweight and portable, the system supports efficient transition between field recovery and laboratory analysis.
